Tuscany is famous for its good food. We in Valleriana take great pride in what we grow and what we eat here. Our most famous food product is the
Sorana bean. Come join us for the annual Bean Festival in the main square in Sorana, every LAST Sunday in August. Eat well, dance in the
piazza; this event is fun for all ages.

We also have some wonderful restaurants in these hills and a few local establishments to refresh you as you explore our hills and stone villages.

Our restaurants are:
Circolo:
A Circolo [literally 'circle'] in Italy also means an 'association' or 'club." I tend to think of a Circolo as a community center. In the small towns of Valleriana, the Circolo will consist of at least a bar. But it is so much more. It is where the locals gather to not only socialize, but to learn more about what else is going on around the valley. You will often see a group of [usually only] men playing cards at a table. If you have an event, you want to let the Circolo know so that they will help spread the word.
